There are many opinions whether 5 star hotels are worth the price label they have… Well, let me paint you a picture of one incident where they are worth every penny of it.

Coming back from a fantastic holiday in Oman (will be posting this one later on…), we had a very nice – but short – stop over in Istanbul. I absolutely love the city, but to get to the point, our 3 year old princess had unfortunately not been fast enough to visit the toilet in the air plane. I had – even if I am not the most efficient mom out there – prepared myself for this and had a pair of change clothes for her with me. The flight went quite smoothly (Muscat – Bahrain – Istanbul), but I did not wish to pack those dirty clothes to the suitcase to be taken to Finland, so I sent them to cleaning service at Four Seasons Sultanahmet Istanbul while our stop over.

Many hotels do not make a distinction in cleaning service prices for adult and children clothes, but this hotel did. And if if they charged only a fraction of the price of adult cloth cleaning, the service was just as impeccable. Have to love the way the clothes were delivered back – just see the photo below…

In addition, there was a nice note saying that the stains on our daughter’s shirt did not come out, just as the leopard’s dots! The photo below is a definition of “attention to details” – one thing I value a lot while traveling!
